Palmer Family

Here is what I did in photoshop to show all the families without taking up a lot of room. I like how it turned out. From left to right: Brad's sister Jen's fam, his sister Angela's fam, his brother Jason's fam, his brother John's fam, and us.

Temple Pictures.

We had Heidi and Jason's name this year for Christmas- this is what I did for Heidi. I enlarged the one on the right and it turned out really pretty. The other one with the fence is one I love. I took the pictures myself and used my ametuer photoshop skills. Let me know what you think. Which one do you like best? I could personalize them for anyone.

Photo Shoot!

With this beautiful weather I was outside taking pictures this morning. Here are close ups of us. (Kason took the one of me, isn't it awesome!) (I gave him very specific instructions.)

Tiny Zoomer!

I have been needing a new post bad. Today was a sunny day so Kason wanted to ride his "tiny zoomer." He was having so much fun. He looked like a little pro out there infront of moms house. It's hard for me to believe he's only 5. He had hopes this winter of racing in Island Park so we'll have to see. He is so proud of these pictures.

Halloween, Etc.

Wow, I can't believe I never put any Halloween pics on here. I thought the boys looked so cute. The theme for their costumes this year was Rodeo. Kason wanted to be a bucking bull. I wasn't quite sure how I was going to pull that off but it turned out cute. Kash was the bull rider. And Brayke was the rodeo clown.

This was my booth at the SR fine arts craft day. I didn't have too many things made but I still did alright. Dad and Brad came early and put the display together for me. It's my old door and the old bunk bed ends that were by my garage. I loved it. I still have a few things left over but not too much. I will post some individual pictures so you can see things better. Heidi came down from pocatello to help me out. She brought some cute things too. I think we make a good pair.

Kason is 5!!!

Sheesh. Kason turned 5 in October. What a fun kid. He wanted to go bowling for his party. On the way into town we were talking about who was going to be there and what we were going to eat, etc. Kason all of the sudden got sick to his stomach and said he was going to throw up. Luckily I had some barf bags from the hospital (they are awesome to keep in the car) so I handed him one. I was concerned he wasn't feeling well, but he told me "I am just so excited mom." He didn't have any other symptoms of illness. I really think he was so excited it upset his stomach. The party was a lot of fun. He had a lot of family and friends that came. He's pretty lucky to have a lot of his family close. I have to get some pics posted of the boys on Halloween! They were so cute!

Three Brothers

Last Sunday I took some pictures for my Michelle, and Tami. I ended up doing some of my own kids too! Which is no surprise. Brad thought the one on the bench with all three looked like a Christmas card.

Happy Harvest!

Last saturday I was trying to get caught up at the house and do laundry. Mom and Dad stopped by to see if the boys wanted to go out to the field and gather potatoes. They were excited to go do anything with Grandpa on the 3 wheeler. Kason worked very hard mom said. They were out there most of the day. This is a picture they took of him after his hard day! The pumpkins were out of mom's garden! Kash kept saying "punkin" "huge"

Photography blog!!!

I started a photography blog. There's not much there but hopefully there will be soon. I'm sure I will be using pictures from the past so I hope that's okay with everyone if your pics are on it. The blog is www.kpalmerphotography.blogspot.com

Working!

I started working in harvest driving truck. It's only 3 days a week but my free time seems to be consumed. Which has eliminated bloggin. I work Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays. I really enj0y it. Nice little break for mommy. The kids are always really excited to see me. It's so cute. Today Brad was home so he watched the boys. Brayke had his shirt on backwards. Kash was wearing only a diaper. Kason was ready for the day but probably only because he can dress himself. It made me laugh. He has an excuse though cuz he has been very sick with pnuemonia. He finally started feeling better today.

Lil' Buckaroo Rodeo

I entered the boys in the little rodeo at the fair on Saturday. It was so cute! And so much fun to get them all dressed up. Kason did the ribbon pull, stick horse racing, dummy roping, and mutton bustin. He ended up doing good in all of them except riding sheep. He would not do it. But he's never even been around a sheep. After that, he did the dummy ropin and got 2nd! He did so good. We were all so proud.

Kash also did the stick horse race, and the ribbon pull. What else can I say. Kash would be cute in anything he did. Both events were just based on participation so he got a ribbon like everyone else. But don't they look so cute!

Fair pictures!

I entered some pics in the fair this year. I am not sure I can keep doing it though because it costs so much and unless I win big I won't get all the money back. But I do like doing it. I have done it for a long time now. Probably close to ten years! But if you go in, watch for them. Hopefully they will have ribbons!

Sad day for Brad.

Brad's pickup is officially for sale! So if anyone is interested, which is a long shot, let us know. He's asking $10,600. If this doesn't interest you, maybe a snowmobile will!

Poor little guy!

Yesterday morning I was on the bed with Brayke hanging out. I picked him up holding his left arm and he started to cry. I didn't realize that picking him up was what caused him to scream until a few minutes later. After I observed him more, I noticed he wasn't using his left arm at all! I got a little worried and called the doctor. Which he wanted to see him. After the doctor examined his little arm he decided there wasn't a broken bone but sent me to do xrays just in case. They turned out okay. Thank goodness. Today I had an appointment with the "Orthapedic Doc." Turns out he had a dislocated elbow! So he put it back in place for Brayke and he was immediately fine.
It was kinda scary. Brad is gone to California so I told him what was going on over the phone. He asked me if child services had come to question me. And no, they didn't but it kinda had me worried. Anyway, I will definately be more careful with him now.

BuCkArOo!

For those of you who know Kash, would smile at the picture of him. What a kid! He let Brayke have a turn with his hat. I look at pictures of Brayke now and see more and more of Kason. As for Kason, he is so much fun. The other day I was cooking some lunch and he got excited and asked if I was making "teeter totters." I thought about it and told him we were! (having tater tots.) I thought it was pretty funny.

RiDiNg WiTh GrAnDpA!

Dad was cutting the thistles in the pasture on Saturday so the boys (of coarse) wanted a ride. It is so much fun watching my kids doing and loving the same things I did when I was a kid. Growing up in the same place. And always going to Grandma's.

Playing with cousins

A couple days ago Tiffany came over and brought her kids. Wyatt is Kason's age and Ali is Kash's. It's a lot of fun for them to play together. Tiffany and I were in the office making stickers and she decided to go check on the kids. She couldn't find Wyatt and Kase. I went looking too and found them in the corn patch! It was cute. They were hidden pretty well! The picture on the bottom was my favorite one of the day. I used some of my photo editing skills to make it even cuter.

Fun Weekend!

We went to Heise this weekend for a reunion. Yep, another camping trip (It's good I love to camp) Our camp spot was nice cuz it had a football field sized lawn that no one was camping in so the kids didn't even get dirty. That's a huge change from the other camping we have done this year. We camped right under this huge rock climbing wall. The kids didn't get too interested until the second day. Kason liked to climb up to the "cubby." Which you can see in the third pic.
It was a lot of swimming and relaxing. One thing that was a little scary though was when I was getting water for the kiddie pool I walked right up on a rattle snake! It was probably 4 feet long and it was about a foot away from me shaking its rattle! It could have bit me if it wanted. I jumped back and screamed "there's a rattlesnake over there!" I wasn't sure everyone believed me but my dad ran and got a shovel. My brother in law Shane came over and saw that it was a rattler and got the shovel and killed it. It was freaky. It was only about ten feet away from our whole camp. What if one of the kids had come across it and not an adult. I am grateful for that. After the adrenaline quit we walked across the road where Shane had thrown the dead snake to cut off the rattler. According to the rattler it was 10 years old. Scary. But we all came home safe and sound.

Ouch!

So the other day Kash came in the house and had blood all over his face. It scared me. I thought it was his eye at first but turns out his head got cut. It was no big deal for him but Kason knew it was serious. Kash wouldn't have even come in if his cousins had'nt told him to.

Tis the season.

It seems as though we have been camping all summer long. First we went to Wildhorse for a reunion the last week in June.

Then we were home for 2 days getting ready for Island Park reunion. I like to camp so it was fine with me. Excepting that I always wonder how little boys can get so filthy in such little time. But it is the only time of year I don't have to worry about it. We did have lots of baths though. Kash even had to have 2 in one day. It was bad.

We spent one day going to West. We saw some elk, buffalo, and one buck. The boys liked the "geyser" Kason called it. It was very hot though and crowded.

On the 4th we went back to West to watch fireworks. They were neat watching them there. Kash slept right through all of them. He wasn't too interested I guess. Brayke loved them. He was mezmerized! Brad had to leave earlier that day to work, so we missed having him there. But it was a good Independence day.
